Both Manheim’s Portland Auto Auction and Mississippi Auto Auction won the AmeriCredit Corp. Auction of Excellence award for the West Coast and Southeast regions, respectively.
Both Manheim’s Portland Auto Auction and Mississippi Auto Auction won the AmeriCredit Corp. Auction of Excellence award for the West Coast and Southeast regions, respectively.
Portland Auto Auction, located in Portland, Ore., was named the West Coast Auction of Excellence for the third and fourth quarters of last year and competed with other quarterly award winners to be named the 2003 regional Auction of Excellence. Mississippi Auto Auction, located in Hattiesburg, Miss., was recognized for the fourth quarter of 2003.
“We are pleased to name these two Manheim auctions as top performers in their regions,” said Gayle Pavlicek, senior vice president of Asset Remarketing at AmeriCredit. “While the competition was tough, their consistent delivery of first-rate results distinguished them as Auctions of Excellence.”
The Auction of Excellence program was established to recognize auctions with outstanding customer service and high recovery rates for AmeriCredit vehicles. AmeriCredit sales representatives rate auction performance in several categories, such as organization of sale, quality of vehicle reconditioning, and dealer turnout.
