AFLA Releases 2018 Conference Schedule
The entire program schedule for the 2018 AFLA annual corporate fleet conference has been unveiled, which will be held Oct. 1 to 3, 2018 in Orlando, Fla.
The entire program schedule for the 2018 AFLA annual corporate fleet conference has been unveiled, which will be held Oct. 1 to 3, 2018 in Orlando, Fla.
Highlights of the schedule reveal includes a panel on fleet management and procurement; emerging accounting and tax trends for fleet; the globalization of AFLA; best practice roundtables; and more. The winners of several annual fleet awards will also be revealed, including the Fleet Manager of the Year, Fleet Executive of the Year, and Fleet Hall of Fame nominees.
Mary Sticha, current president of AFLA and SVP of operation excellence for Element Fleet Management, will officially kick of the conference with an opening welcome.
Afternoon networking activities will also be available on Tuesday, Oct. 2, which includes guided fishing, a kayak and canoe tour of Florida’s natural preserves, and a golf session.
A motivational keynote speech from Rudy Ruettiger, who was the subject of the 1993 film Rudy, will be another highlight of the conference. Other speaker sessions include a discussion on information security by Tyler Cohen Wood, a cyber-authority with 18 years of highly technical experience who will provide insight into cyber threats.
