Six commercial fleet veterans have been elected to the board of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association, including Laura Jozwiak of Wheels, Inc. The move sets up Jozwiak to lead the organization as president in 2020, the association announced.

Jozwiak will serve as AFLA's secretary for the 2018-2019 term, while Mary Sticha of Element Fleet Management continues as the 2017-2018 president.

"I am thrilled to have been elected by my peers throughout the fleet industry," said Jozwiak. "I am looking forward to contributing, learning and growing with this great Fleet industry organization."

Jozwiak, senior vice president of sales and client relations for Wheels, brings a fleet management career that spans more than 25 years. She joined WHeels in 2002 as an account manager and since that time has managed some of the company's largest and most complex clients. She has been serving in her current role since 2015, and provides strategic guidance and analytical resources to help clients optimize their fleets.

Other new board members include Martin Kiel of Volkswagen to serve as director of manufacturers and Mike Antich of Bobit Business Media to serve as director of strategy. Three members were re-elected, including Erin Gilchrist of Safelite Autoglass; Kristopher Bush of LeasePlan USA as director of fleet management companies, and Sherry Calkins of Geotab as director at-large.

The new board will take their seats during the AFLA Conference that runs from Oct. 1 to 3 in Orlando, Fla. AFLA now counts more than 500 members representing various industry segments, including fleet managers and sourcing professionals, fleet management progessionals, auto manufacturers and dealers, remarketers, maintenance and repair companies, and other specialized suppliers.
