ADP Claims Services Group has expanded Autosource, a database of “for sale” vehicle valuation information, to include salvage check and state title information, powered by Experian Automotive’s AutoCheck. The expanded Autosource services will report possible undisclosed or previously unknown vehicle history, such as salvage and flood damage, that can affect an automobile's value. Autosource users can add salvage check and state title information to vehicle valuations. The salvage check includes information on salvage, salvage auction, salvage correction from department of motor vehicles, water damage, rebuilt/rebuildable, insurance loss, and more. The state title information includes the event date, location, odometer reading, source, and event detail. AutoCheck salvage and state title information is accessed from Experian’s National Vehicle Database, which is comprised of more than 16 billion records on more than 450 million vehicles. The Autosource database of “for sale” vehicle valuation information has more than 110 million vehicle records entered annually. It is updated daily with real-world market information gathered from private-party advertisements in more than 3,300 publications and Web sites nationwide and ADP’s electronic dealer inventory program, which collects information from more than 11,300 dealerships. The result is a database updated with more than 2 million vehicle records per week.
