CARMEL, IN - ADESA announced it is integrating its physical ADESA auction locations with CarsArrive. CarsArrive is a subsidiary of OPENLANE that ADESA also acquired in the acquisition.

"We are committed to recognizing synergies across all business units, even those that have just joined the KAR family of companies," said David Vignes, executive vice president of enterprise optimization for KAR Auction Services. "The integration of CarsArrive will give customers a wider selection of national carriers via a completely automated and versatile online platform."

OPENLANE's transportation solution, CarsArrive, is an industry leader in transportation options with more than 16 years of experience transporting vehicles. The CarsArrive network includes more than 4,500 transport companies and 30,000 trucks, and all carriers are fully bonded and insured.

"I am pleased to welcome CarsArrive to our auctions," said Tom Caruso, president and CEO of ADESA. "Adopting the only integrated transportation solution allows us to better serve our customers and our industry."

Customers can use the company's Internet-based system to instantly review price quotes and delivery times, check available loads and also receive instant notification of available shipments. The system is even able to consolidate shipments and optimize both full and partial loads in real time.

"I look forward to the opportunity to bring CarsArrive's unique array of services to ADESA customers," said Michael Briggs, president and CEO of CarsArrive. "For example, our customized dashboard systems with mobile capabilities deliver real-time data and analytics and provide complete, end-to-end transparency."

CarsArrive has been implemented at three ADESA auctions to date, and will be available at seven locations within the next 30 days. All ADESA locations throughout the United States and Canada will be utilizing CarsArrive by December 2012.
