ADESA Shifts Management in Texas, California, New Jersey

ADESA recently announced Scott Stalder, an 18-year auction veteran, has been promoted to the position of general manager for ADESA Los Angeles.

ADESA recently announced Scott Stalder, an 18-year auction veteran, has been promoted to the position of general manager for ADESA Los Angeles. Stalder, who began his career with ADESA Dallas in 1997 as an assistant general manager, was promoted to general manager of ADESA Austin in 1999 before returning to ADESA Dallas in 2002 to serve as the auction’s general manager.
“ADESA Los Angeles has experienced significant growth in the past few years,” said Jim Hallett, ADESA president and chief operating officer. “Scott’s experience and outstanding leadership skills are impressive and I am confident that he will continue building a strong auction presence on the West coast.”
Patrick Stevens, a seasoned auction professional with more than 10 years of auction experience will replace Stalder as general manager for ADESA Dallas. Since 2000, Stevens had served as assistant general manager for ADESA Dallas. In 2003, Stevens completed ADESA’s in-house Leadership Development Program (LDP), which prepares employees for upper management positions.
“Pat has worked in various capacities at the auction level, and he has gained valuable insight that will greatly assist him in his new role as General Manager,” Hallett said. “I’m excited that Pat will continue to expand his professional career with ADESA.”
Former ADESA Dallas Fleet/Lease Manager, Rance Rudy will take Stevens’ place as assistant general manager for ADESA Dallas. Rudy, who joined ADESA Dallas in 2000 as the company’s fleet/lease manager, possesses more than 10 years of experience in the wholesale vehicle auction industry.
In ADESA’s Northeast region, the company has named Joe Samuel general manager for ADESA New Jersey. Samuel held the same position from 1995 to 2000 and will assume his new post at on March 8. Joe Migneco who has served as ADESA New Jersey’s general manager since 2000 will remain with ADESA New Jersey as the auction’s Business Manager
