ADESA Kansas City announced today that Rob Reed is its new fleet/lease manager. Reed, the former national account manager at ADESA Dallas, will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with ADESA Kansas City’s fleet, lease, and captive finance customers. “Around 30 percent of ADESA Kansas City customers are from banks, rental companies, and dealers looking to move large fleets,” said Steve Hodges, general manager for ADESA Kansas City. A graduate of Texas A & M University, Reed’s roots in the wholesale vehicle auction industry date back to his father, Stan Reed, assistant general manager of ADESA Ark-La-Tex in Shreveport, LA. “I grew up in the auction industry doing everything from condition report writing, dealer consignment sales, arbitration, fleet/lease, and national account management,” Reed said. “Now as a fleet/lease manager for ADESA Kansas City, I have a tremendous opportunity to use the knowledge I have gained while building a successful fleet/lease sale.”
