3 Texas Propane Retailers Join Fleet Conversion Group

DALLAS --- Three Dallas-Fort Worth area propane retailers have joined Alliance AutoGas, a national alternative-fuel vehicle conversion and fueling network.

DALLAS --- Three Dallas-Fort Worth area propane retailers have joined Alliance AutoGas, a national alternative-fuel vehicle conversion and fueling network.

The new alliance partners are Propane Bottle Service, Huffhines Gas and Henderson Oil & Propane.

As Alliance AutoGas partners, these companies will work with public and private fleets to convert vehicles from conventional gasoline to propane AutoGas, a cleaner, domestic alternative fuel.

Alliance AutoGas's turn-key solution includes vehicle conversion equipment and labor, a fueling station on site at fleet base, safety and operational training for fleet personnel, year-round fuel provision and ongoing technical support.

"The propane vehicle market is expanding rapidly, and Alliance AutoGas is really pioneering the turn-key approach to alternative fueling," said Bill Clinkscale, owner of Henderson Oil & Propane. "It's exciting to come on board as an Alliance AutoGas partner because we know we can really make a difference across the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. We can save fleets money and we can cut down on emissions, all while using a fuel that's almost entirely produced here in the U.S."
