2026 Mazda3 Expands Lineup With New Features and Trim Options

Mazda introduces the 2026 Mazda3 sedan and hatchback with updated trims, enhanced technology, and refined design, arriving at dealerships this summer.

Mazda North American Operations has announced updates to the 2026 Mazda3 sedan and hatchback. Both models arrive at dealerships this summer with a starting MSRP of $24,550 for the sedan and $25,550 for the hatchback.

Buyers can choose between a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode or a six-speed manual available on select trims. Front-wheel drive is standard, with i-Activ all-wheel drive available on certain grades.

Mazda3 2.5 S

The entry-level Mazda3 2.5 S is offered in both sedan and hatchback body styles. Standard safety equipment includes:

  • Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go

  • Smart Brake Support

  • Lane Departure Warning and Lane-Keep Assist

  • Driver Attention Alert

  • High Beam Control

  • Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

  • Vehicle Exit Warning

  • Rear Seat Alert

Additional features include an 8.8-inch center display with Mazda Connect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start, rearview camera, two USB-C inputs, and an eight-speaker Mazda Harmonic Acoustics audio system. Exterior details include LED lighting, body-colored mirrors with integrated signals, and 16-inch alloy wheels.


Mazda3 2.5 S Select Sport

The Select Sport trim adds:

  • Advanced Keyless Entry

  • Rain-sensing wipers

  • Dual-zone automatic climate control

  • Black leatherette seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob

  • Rear center armrest with cup holders

  • 18-inch black alloy wheels and heated black mirrors

This model also introduces Alexa Built-in, enabling voice control for vehicle functions and compatible smart home devices.


Mazda3 2.5 S Preferred

The Preferred trim builds on Select Sport with:

  • Power sliding-glass moonroof

  • Heated front seats

  • Eight-way power driver’s seat with memory and lumbar support

  • Tilt-down mirrors in reverse

  • Sedan: silver 18-inch wheels and optional Greige leatherette

  • Hatchback: gray metallic 18-inch wheels and standard black leatherette


Mazda3 2.5 S Carbon Edition

The Carbon Edition features Polymetal Gray exterior paint and a red leather interior. Equipment includes:

  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

  • Qi wireless phone charging

  • HD Radio

  • Black heated mirrors and black 18-inch alloy wheels

All-wheel drive is standard.


Mazda3 2.5 S Premium

Exclusive to the hatchback, the Premium trim includes the six-speed manual transmission. Features include:

  • 12-speaker Bose audio system

  • SiriusXM satellite radio (three-month trial)

  • Active Driving Display

  • Adaptive Front-lighting System

  • Traffic Sign Recognition

  • Navigation with OTA updates

  • Black or red leather seats

  • 18-inch black alloy wheels and LED signature lighting


Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus

The Turbo Premium Plus is available on sedan and hatchback models. It includes:

  • Gloss black aerodynamic accents and rear spoiler (sedan) or spoiler with front air dam (hatchback)

  • Black, red, or white leather seating (depending on body style)

  • 12-speaker Bose system

  • 360° View Monitor and front/rear parking sensors

  • Cruising and Traffic Support

  • Smart Brake Support-Reverse and Rear Crossing

  • Larger 10.25-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto

  • Paddle shifters, heated steering wheel, frameless auto-dimming mirror with Homelink, and Mazda Online Navigation
