2026 Hyundai Palisade Expands Lineup With Hybrid, Off-Road and Tech Upgrades

Hyundai has announced pricing and specifications for the 2026 Palisade, its three-row SUV, which now includes a hybrid variant and an off-road-focused XRT PRO trim. Internal combustion engine (ICE) models are expected to arrive later this month, with hybrid models scheduled to go on sale in early fall. The Palisade is built in Ulsan, South Korea.
A 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 287 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Towing capacity is rated at 5,000 pounds.
A hybrid variant using a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors integrated into a 6-speed automatic transmission. Estimated output is 329 horsepower and 339 lb.-ft. of torque. Hyundai estimates 34 mpg combined and a range of up to 619 miles. Hybrid models can tow up to 4,000 pounds.
A Stay Mode feature allows infotainment and HVAC systems to remain operational while the vehicle is parked.
The 2026 Hyundai Palisade adds hybrid efficiency, 5,000 lbs. of towing capacity and new off-road capability—paired with updated driver-assist systems and in-vehicle tech for versatile fleet use.
