Warren Byrd, EVP of corporate development and real estate for KAR Auction Services, and Chris Clarke, manager of North American remarketing for ARI, have been named as the 2019 Remarketer and Consignor of the Year respectively.
Mike Antich, editor of Automotive Fleet, presented both of the Bobit Business Media-sponsored awards at the 2019 Conference of Automotive Remarketing on Wednesday.
The Consignor of the Year award is voted on by professionals in the remarketing industry. Voters select the winner based on his or her ability to implement and encourage the use of best industry practices, as well as create, embrace and implement innovations to the industry.
This year saw the highest turnout of voters in the award's history.
The Remarketer of the Year award recognizes individuals in the remarketing industry who actively share expertise and skills that advance the industry, participate in industry associations and groups, and mentor in the development of the next generation of remarketers.
