The 2018 Jeep Cherokee will offer a new Tech Connect package on the Latitude trim that will include connectivity for the Amazon Echo Dot that allows a user to use Alexa voice commands to start the car remotely.
The package allows voice commands to remotely start or stop the engine, lock or unlock doors, send commands to the vehicle's navigation, and monitor vehicle condition.
When purchasing the vehicle, cusotmers will recieve an Amazon Echo Dot connected speaker, a three-month subscription to the Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan, and a three-month subscription to Audible.
The 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with the Tech Connect Package will retail for $27,285 for the front-wheel model and $28,785 for the 4x4 model.
