2018 GMC Terrain Starts at $25,970
The 2018 GMC Terrain will retail for at least $25,970, a $1,900 increase over the 2017 base model, as it arrives as a second-generation compact SUV with a new optional diesel engine.

The 2018 GMC Terrain will retail for at least $25,970, a $1,900 increase over the 2017 base model, as it arrives as a second-generation compact SUV with a new optional diesel engine.
GMC will offer a trio of engines, including a 2.0-liter gasoline engine at launch followed by a 1.5-liter and 1.6-liter diesel at a later date. The Terrain shares a platform and engines with the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox.
The 2018 Terrain will arrive in three trim grades, including the SL, SLE, and SLT. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional with SLE and SLT. Pricing for the front-wheel models has been set at $25,970 for the SL, $28,795 for the SLE, and $32,295 for the SLT.
Adding all-wheel drive adds $1,750. GMC will offer the diesel engine with the SLE and SLT grades for an additional $3,770 on SLE and $2,845 on SLT.
The Terrain Denali will retail for $38,495 for the FWD model and $40,245 for the AWD model.
