Ingrid Joris was named the 2014 Fleet Executive of the Year at the AFLA Conference on Sept. 9, joining a prestigious list of past winners.
Joris was unable to attend the event, and the award was accepted by a colleague on her behalf. The award is sponsored by The CEI Group.
Joris was selected by a panel of judges from a field of four finalists that included Sheri Bonsall, vice president and manager of corporate travel, meetings and fleet services from Chubb and Son; Kevin Fisher, vice president of strategic fleet operations for Aramark; and Robin Lewis, vice president of procurement, fleet and asset management for Ferrellgas.
Joris is the vice president and general manager of HR operational services for Ingersoll Rand, where she manages a fleet of 5,210 vehicles and supervises 11 direct reports. She was credited with a fleet optimization initiative that resulted in a multiple-year savings of $4 million in productivity.
