DEARBORN, MI – The EPA rated Ford’s Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid sedan with an official fuel economy figure of 108 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) in city driving. The EPA also certified the vehicle at 92 MPGe highway, and a combined rating of 100 MPGe.
Ford noted the EPA certified three of its vehicles, the Focus Electric, the C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrid, and the Fusion Energi at more than 100 MPGe. The Ford Focus gets EPA-estimated 110 MPGe city, 99 MPGe highway, 105 MPGe combined. The C-MAX Energi gets 108 MPGe city, 92 MPGe highway, 100 MPGe combined.
