PPG AutoGlass' Smith Takes Home Fleet Executive Award

Jeffrey Smith, director of distribution for PPG AutoGlass in Pittsburgh, was awarded the 2003 Fleet Executive Award by Fleet Financials, Automotive Fleet's sister publication. The CEI Group, an accident and risk management company located in Philadelphia, sponsored the award.
Smith successfully merged the two fleets of PPG Industries and Apogee Enterprises, reduced the combined fleet by 25 percent, and changed the fleet mix to include more cost-efficient vehicles.
The 2003 Fleet Executive Award was presented in conjunction with the 2003 Fleet Manager Award on May 4, 2003 in Philadelphia.
