It was an impressive dedication. Peterson, Howell & Heather, Inc. hosted an august group of clients, car dealers, suppliers and related business accounts with personal greetings from PHH management, a tour of their new office building and a special Chesapeke-Bay-type reception.
The new eight story building has 163.000 square feet of office space located on twelve acres in Hunt Valley, MD, in suburban Baltimore. This, the first of three planned structures, houses corporate offices, the Fleet Management Services Division and the Corporate Travel Services Division.
Originally formed in 1946, PHH has gained leadership in fleet management program services and finance leasing now covering about 150.000 cars and tracks. Related is their purchasing programs for tires, and vehicle maintenance, motel accommodations and rent-a-car services; controlled purchasing programs for truck fuel and other supplies for trucks with credit cards at truck stops: and, management reporting systems for automobile and other forms of travel expense. Other interests include employee relocation management service and international representation for services.
John S. Lalley, Chairman of the board, Jerome W. Geckle, president, and all executives were on hand to personally welcome industry guests and make certain that each was totally aware of the continued progress being made by the industry leader.
