Newest Mercury is this Park Lane Custom Limousine which was shown for the first time at the New York International Auto Show, and will be on display at the Ford Motor Company Wonder Rotunda at the New York World's Fair.
The eight-passenger limousine is 242.5 inches long, and is on a wheelbase of 147 inches, an increase of 24 inches in both dimensions over the production Park Lane sedan. It has two forward-facing companion seats in the passenger compartment, which is separated from the driver's compartment by a partition with sliding glass windows. The exterior is dark midnight blue, with black vinyl roof. The passenger compartment is dark blue moselle fabric and the driver's compartment is in black vinyl.
