The second annual Fleet Technology Expo (FTX) was held in Schaumburg, Ill., Oct. 17-19, 2016.
Featuring fleet subject-matter experts who discussed cutting-edge technology and operational best practices, FTX gave attendees both a glimpse of the future and practical strategies they could put into practice the moment they returned to their fleets.
Among the hottest topics was autonomous vehicles. In several sessions, subject-matter experts and attendees engaged in lively discussions about all aspects of a technology that is quickly graduating from science fiction to science fact.
Among the other highlights was the ever-popular Ride and Drive, featuring vehicles with advanced technology and alternative-fuel powertrains. FTX ended with the recognition of fleet leaders who have improved their fleets’ efficiency and Fleet Visionaries who are bringing new ideas to their fleets.
