MT. LAUREL, N.J. – ARI Automotive Resources International promoted Bob Graham to vice-president of vehicle remarketing.
Having most recently served as director of vehicle remarketing, the company said Graham has played a significant role in growing ARI’s remarketing services, most notably through the growth of the ARI Virtual Market. He oversaw the creation of ARIAutoDirect, ARIBuyDirect, and several other electronic marketplaces for used vehicles.
Graham also actively participates in several industry organizations and currently serves as president of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA). He began his tenure at ARI in 1973.
"Bob has proven to be a true industry leader,” commented ARI president Carl Ortell. “His extensive experience, wide-ranging industry knowledge, and keen insight into the future of remarketing have helped to keep ARI as a leader in our industry.”
Vehicles that were taken out of commercial, government, and daily rental fleets and sold at auction in July were worth 8.1% more than they were a year ago and 0.4% more than in June, according to Tom Kontos, KAR Auction Services' chief economist.
