PartsRiver, Inc., a provider of data quality and analytics services for the transportation equipment industry, announced on May 27 that it has been awarded a renewal contract for ongoing parts data quality services from Ryder System, Inc., a provider of transportation and supply chain management solutions. Under the contract, PartsRiver provides pricing and parts data quality services to Ryder that eliminates pricing discrepancies and identifies areas where Ryder can leverage parts data to improve purchasing decisions. The services include delivering price updates along with superceded and/or obsolete part information. Additionally, PartsRiver provides Ryder with data visibility, which helps improve parts spending.
