The vehicle revives a nameplate from Ford's past. Ford produced several sizes and configurations of the Bronco starting with the 1966 model year and ending with the 1996 model. It was offered as a compact, midsize, and full size SUV and with two or four doors. The 2021 model is expected to be a midsize SUV with either two or four doors that will compete with the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner.
