Six months after the formation of a new business unit focused on enabling next-generation transportation, the Cox Automotive Mobility Group unveiled a distinct brand to illustrate the division's integrated solution of forward-looking fleet services. Constructed to include both physical locations and mobile vehicle management solutions, Pivet connects Cox Automotive brand Manheim and national mobile car care company RideKleen, as well as other trusted providers, to enable end-to-end services for every fleet.

Pivet offers quality, convenient, and intelligent fleet services, utilizing existing and creating new technology solutions that simplify mobility operations while maximizing vehicle uptime and profitability for dealers, OEMs, new mobility providers, rental car companies, and private fleets. Essential to Pivet's industry-first fleet services solution is intelligent technology, as well as onsite teams to handle the logistics of task management, including everything from in-fleeting, de-fleeting, cleaning, detailing, fueling, and charging, to maintenance, storage, parking, and logistics. While concentrated initially on leveraging the company's brands, services, and software, Cox Automotive Mobility Group will engage with other relevant smart mobility partners to further power and optimize Pivet's innovative fleet solution.

Flagship Hub Opens at Manheim Metro Atlanta

Building on Cox Automotive's extensive Manheim auction network, which offers one of the largest reconditioning operations in the U.S., Pivet's intelligent fleet services business solution opens its first physical location at Manheim Metro Atlanta. Located between downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport — widely recognized as the busiest airport in the world — Manheim Metro Atlanta Fleet Hub offers traditional fleet services, including regular vehicle maintenance and repair for existing clients Lyft, Flex Fleet Rental, Hertz, and Clutch.

In addition, Manheim Metro Atlanta Fleet Hub team will aid in the development and offering of advanced sensor and electric vehicle (EV) technologies, with dedicated innovation labs scheduled to launch later this year.

Debuting concurrently will be a consumer mobility lounge for Lyft and Uber drivers to get their cars cleaned and serviced. With focus on EV capabilities, Manheim Metro Atlanta Fleet Hub also is partnering with Southern Company: Georgia Power in collaboration with Lyft and Electrify America to promote sustainability with EV charging stations to power ride-sharing.

The Mobility Group is exploring other collaborations within the Cox Automotive family of brands, such as utilizing Xtime's best-in-class technology platform to schedule service appointments. Further expansion at Manheim Metro Atlanta Fleet Hub, as well as the advancement of the physical hub model at other Manheim operating locations and other serviceable properties in the U.S. will continue throughout 2019.

Mobile Fleet Services Powered by RideKleen

While Manheim Metro Atlanta Fleet Hub is an example of how Cox Automotive will leverage Manheim's large footprint and service infrastructure, Pivet's top priority is to build its mobile fleet services capabilities. National mobile car care company RideKleen, which Cox Automotive acquired in October 2018, will lead the initial rollout of mobile fleet services.

RideKleen currently operates in 10 mobility-centric markets — Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. — where it cleans shared fleets operated by clients Getaround, Zipcar, and Enterprise Car Share.

In addition to providing eco-friendly cleaning services, select RideKleen fleets will be equipped to perform light mechanical repairs, such as oil changes and other on-demand maintenance.
