Vehicle logistics provider Acertus has been named one of 150 top workplaces for 2018 by its hometown St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The St. Louis-based company, which was formerly known as MetroGistics, rebranded itself as Acertus earlier this year. The company also maintains facilities in Alpharetta, Ga., and Lexana, Kan., following acquistions of McNutt Automotive Logistics in 2014, AmeriFleet in 2016, and Metro Title Services in 2017.
Acertus was recognized for its employee amenities such as a full-service gym, including two dyas with a personal trainer and one day of yoga; exercise balls that can serve as seats; a game room with ping pong, shuffleboard, Golden Tee and video games; several collaboration areas in the office; and its Giving Back program where a different employee picks a local charity each month to receive a donation.
The Post-Dispatch surveyed 44,000 people to compile its list of companies with effective leadership, strong values, clear direction, and motivated workers, according to Acertus.
