WEX, Inc. has introduced DriverDash, a mobile payment solution that allows drivers to make a secure payment for fuel for their fleet vehicles using their mobile device.

The DriverDash program is now available at more than 11,000 Exxon and Mobil fueling stations in the continental U.S. WEX is working to expand the program, the Portland, Maine-based payment solution provider announced.

"DriverDash is the next evolution in fuel cards — powerful, fast, simple and convenient," said Peggy Watson, vice president of product for WEX. "We're thrilled to continue to use our innovative technology to provide customers with modern, safe, seamless ways to pay for their fuel and capture their data."

The product expands ExxonMobil's fleet business, according to the company.

"This is a great addition to our fleet card benefits, and we look forward to continuously innovating with WEX to meet the evolving needs of our customers," said Miguel Castillo, americas payments marketing manager for ExxonMobil Fuels and Lubricants.
