Abbott's Lopez Promoted to Global Fleet Role

Diane Lopez was promoted to category manager of global fleet for Abbott, headquartered in Abbott Park, Ill. Previously, Lopez’s job title was manager of corporate fleet.

In her new position, Lopez has overall responsibility for the entire Abbott fleet program (both global and U.S.). Lopez will have both fleet manager and procurement responsibilities.

In addition, Lopez has taken over procurement responsibility for ground transportation (rental & black car service). Her main focus will be to develop a global fleet strategy/program.

A new person will be appointed to assume the responsibilities of Lopez’s prior position of U.S. fleet manager, whose sole focus will be the U.S. fleet program.
