The G90 will be powered by three gasoline engines, including a 3.3L T-GDI V-6, 3.8L GDI V-6, and 5.0L GDI V-8 that produce 370 hp, 315 hp, and 425 hp respectively. An 8-speed automatic transmission with lock-up torque converter delivers power to the rear-wheel sedan that's available in all-wheel drive.

The G90 features Genesis Smart Sense, which brings together advanced systems including Genesis’ advanced Highway Driving Assistance that's only available in the Korean market, Advanced Smart Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assistance System.

To extend occupant comfort, the G90 will offer the world's first clinically-validated Smart Posture Caring (SPC) System for the Korean market that automatically adjusts the seat, steering-wheel, outside mirror and head-up display to the optimal position for the driver’s body. The G90’s VIP ergo passenger seats feature multiple ranges of electronically-controlled adjustment, according to Hyundai.

The G90 will be offered in South Korea as the EQ900. Hyundai has not announced pricing. Another give Genesis models will be launched in the next five years.
