Compressed natural gas fuel supplier ampCNG has opened a second public-access fuel station in Jacksonville, Fla., near the Port of Jacksonville at the GATE station along I-295, the company has announced.

The station, which is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week, can provide fast-fill fueling to up to three Class 8 trucks and can accommodate other CNG vehicles, according to the company.

The station uses a fast-fill hydraulic intensifier compressor (HY-C) that can fill three Class 8 trucks at 10 diesel gallon equivalents per minute, according to the company, which operates a southern Jacksonville station at 9711 Mining Drive near Highway 1 and 295.
