The Board of Directors of Fiat S.p.A. has approved a corporate reorganization following its merger with Chrysler Group that includes the formation of corporate parent Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
The newly formed corporation will be based in the Netherlands, and list shares on the New York Stock Exchange and Mercato Telematico Azionario in Milan.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles was formed to unify the Chrysler and Fiat brands and set up the company as a global automaker to compete with General Motors and others.
No layoffs are planned as part of the plan, Chrysler announced.
In a related move, the corporation unveiled a new corporate logo incorporating the letters "F," "C," and "A."
