Nissan appointed a new chairman overseeing North American operations and a new fleet director in moves announced Friday.
Jose Munoz will take over Nissan's North America division starting Jan. 1. Fred Diaz, the former CEO of Chrysler's Ram Truck Unit, has been appointed Nissan U.S.A.'s senior vice president of sales and marketing for parts and service.

Additionally, Matt Burhart is taking over as director of light commercial vehicles sales and marketing, which encompasses the company's fleet car and truck sales. Burhart was formerly a director over Nissan sales operations. He reports to Joe Castelli, vice president of commercial vehicles and fleet.
Burhart succeeds Mike Hobson, who transferred to the new role of director of market intelligence for Nissan, as of Dec. 1. Nissan announced several other moves. Read the full press release here.
