Subaru Announces Pricing on 2026 Ascent 3-row SUV

Subaru has announced pricing and updates for the 2026 Ascent, with new trim features, advanced driver-assist technology, and a fresh Sapphire Blue Pearl color option.

Subaru of America has announced pricing and updates for the 2026 Ascent, the automaker’s three-row SUV. The new model year includes a streamlined trim lineup, interior upgrades, expanded driver-assistance technology, and a new exterior color, Sapphire Blue Pearl, which replaces Cosmic Blue Pearl.

Trim Lineup and Features

The 2026 Ascent will be available in Premium, Limited, Limited Bronze Edition, Touring, and Onyx Edition Touring trims. The Onyx Edition has been discontinued.

All trims include EyeSight Driver Assist Technology with a wide-angle mono camera and Emergency Stop Assist. Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Reverse Automatic Braking, and Automatic Emergency Steering are standard. DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System is included on Limited, Limited Bronze Edition, Touring, and Onyx Edition Touring models.

Under the hood, the Ascent retains its 2.4-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER engine, delivering 260 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a Lineartronic CVT with an 8-speed manual mode and paddle shifters. Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-MODE with Hill Descent Control are standard, along with up to 5,000 pounds of towing capacity.

Trim Highlights

  • Premium: Adds black 18-inch alloy wheels, black mirrors and trim, heated StarTex front seats, LED fog lights, and an 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

  • Limited: Adds leather-trimmed upholstery, heated steering wheel and second-row seats, Harman Kardon premium audio, and Surround View Monitor.

  • Limited Bronze Edition: Bronze-finish 20-inch alloy wheels, bronze exterior accents, and bronze-stitched StarTex interior.

  • Touring: Includes ventilated front seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, Nappa leather upholstery, and smart rearview mirror.

  • Onyx Edition Touring: Touring features plus black 20-inch wheels, black exterior accents, and Slate Black Nappa leather with green stitching.

The 2026 Subaru Ascent will continue to be assembled at Subaru of Indiana Automotive in Lafayette, Indiana, alongside the Crosstrek and Forester.
