Hyundai on July 5 issued a summary of changes to its new vehicle line-up for the 2024 model year. Those new models include the Kona and Kona Electric.

2024 Kona Electric
Two battery systems: 48.6 kWh battery system delivers and estimated range of 197 miles while the available 64.8-kWh battery system delivers an estimated range of 260 miles based on preliminary internal Hyundai tests. Kona Electric offers 400V DC fast charging, vehicle-to-load capability (V2L), i-PEDAL driving mode, smart regenerative system, and active grille shutters.

2024 Santa Cruz
The 2024 Santa Cruz introduces an addition to the lineup, along with a wider range of everyday technology applications.
The Santa Cruz XRT trim expands on the Tucson XRT, Santa Fe XRT, and Palisade XRT models. Replacing the SEL Premium trim from the previous model year, the Santa Cruz XRT is positioned just below the Limited trim level, offering advanced features and content that surpass the SEL with activity package.
The XRT trim aims to deliver an exceptional driving experience, blending adventure with everyday practicality. Its feature content builds on top of the SEL with Activity Package, and includes:
