BrightDrop's Electric Vans Are Getting New Names
BrightDrop said its goal of the brand visual system is to display the strength and legacy of GM.

The Zevo 600 is a long-range electric delivery vehicle that features up to 250-mile range on a full charge.

BrightDrop announced it has new names for its electric delivery vans and electric carts that "more closely align with our mission and purpose of decarbonizing last-mile deliveries," according to the company's news release.
The BrightDrop EV600 and BrightDrop EV410 have been renamed the BrightDrop Zevo 600 and BrightDrop Zevo 400.
The company said it chose Zevo because it contains ZEV (Zero Emissions Vehicle) and EV (Electric Vehicle) and is a play-off “zero," a reference to GM’s Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion vision.
The BrightDrop EP1 is now the BrightDrop Trace. Trace, e-cart spelled backwards, goes back to the company's brand system of flowing lines and movement.
Equipped with an electric hub motor capable of matching walking speeds of up to 3 mph, Trace can help reduce package touch points and operational costs.
BrightDrop's software platform will also have a new name, according to the news release. The name has not been released, yet.
The integrated, cloud-based software platform, provides customers with access to their BrightDrop products through both web and mobile interfaces throughout all parts of delivery fleet management.
