The Italian leasing company Leasys has launched a new long-term rental option for light commercial vehicles.
Called Leasys Pro, the rental includes full maintenance and insurance for a complete turn-key solution aimed at both corporate fleets, SME businesses and the self-employed.
Leasys says that the new long-term rental will particularly appeal to the self-employed as it features three options specifically designed for three specific trades: delivery services, plumbers and electricians. Vehicles can be further specialised depending on the requirements of the business.
The vans available under Leasys Pro are all from the Stellantis stable and include:
Fiat Fiorino, Doblò and Ducato
Citroen Berlingo and Jumper
Peugeot Partner and Boxer
Opel Combo and Movano.
Leasys says it has launched the service in response to the rapid increase in demand for light commercial vehicles. According to industry body ACEA, light commercial registrations have boomed during the first eighth months of 2021, and are currently sitting at +23.6% year-on-year, despite falls in the last two months.
Customers who sign up to Leasys Pro are also offered the option to purchase the van at the end of the rental period at a pre-agreed price at the agreement’s commencement.
There are no plans for Leasys Pro to come to the UK confirmed a spokesperson.
