In the latest State of the Fleet Industry Spotlight video, Automotive Fleet Editor Mike Antich interviewed Patti Earley, CAFM, fleet fuel operations specialist, Florida Power & Light and NAFA President. They discussed fleet fuel trends, the industry’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the upcoming Virtual NAFA I&E conference, and other Association initiatives.

She gave an overview on the latest trends and technologies in fleet fuel management, and how telematics can help in this area. She also discussed what the fleet industry might look like in a post-pandemic business environment, how right-sizing may be a central focus moving forward, and best practices her fleet has put in place to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 contagion within its operations.

Earley also provided a sneak peek at what this year’s Virtual NAFA I&E will have in store for attendees. She discussed NAFA's current initiatives, plans for its education and certification programs, and other future strategies of the Association for the next three years.
