The full agenda for the International Automotive Remarketing Alliance (IARA) Virtual Summer Roundtable has been revealed for the one-day conference that will be hosted Aug. 20, 2020.
The 2020 IARA Virtual Summer Roundtable has a schedule full of virtual sessions for remarketers and consignors covering today’s hot-topic remarketing issues as well as the continued recover of the industry and the future of remarketing.
After a morning introduction from IARA President Paul Seger, there will be a sessions titled “What’s on the Horizon for Consignors” presented by Steve Greenfield, CEO and founder of Automotive Ventures, which will offer insight into the consignor marketplace and expectations for the future.
Following this will be a session called “Where Do We Go From Here,” that will feature a group of leading consignors representing various segments on how they are responding to the “new normal’ and changes in the wholesale markets.
Later is a “2020 Dealer Insights” panel moderated by National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) CEO Steve Jordan. He will be speaking with a panel of dealers to gain their perspectives on what’s ahead and how they are adapting to industry changes.
After lunch, three different webinars will be hosted on subjects pertinent to the remarketing industry: logistics, repossessions, and titling. Subject matter experts will speak on challenges and resources in today’s environment and share in interactive dialogue among the group.
Later is a session on the new business dynamic of physical auctions, which will address the impact of COVID-19 with leaders from various auction chains. This will cover what they’ve encountered, learned and how they have changed their business model to adapt to “the new normal”.
Also, highlighting the Virtual Summer Roundtable are two keynote speakers, which included Blake Stratton, business consultant, Michael Hyatt & Co., who will present a four step-system designed to help individuals grow their businesses; and Melinda Zabritski, senior director, Experian, who will examine several key areas of the automotive finance market and discuss how these trends will impact remarketing professionals.
