Chrysler's Fleet Head Leads Dodge SRT Unit

May 6, 2014

Chrysler Group has given leadership of its Dodge SRT performance division to Tim Kuniskis, the current fleet operations head and Dodge chief executive and president.

With the move, Chrysler is consolidating the SRT vehicles under the Dodge brand as the company moves to integrate its operations under Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

Sergio Marchionne, Chrysler's chief executive and chairman, plans to lay out a five-year strategic plan on Tuesday for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the entity that was set up earlier this year following the merger of the automakers.

In an earlier interview, Kuniskis said the Dodge brand is facing serious challenges, including a decline in fleet sales to a 10-year low.
