WASHINGTON – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that Ford is recalling 19,106 2013 model-year Ford Fusions because the low beam headlamp projector may not have properly cured during the manufacturing process. An improperly cured projector coating will become hazy over time and reduce the low-beam lamp’s brightness.

Ford said it will notify owners and dealers and will replace the headlamp assembly. Ford plans to begin the recall on Dec. 10. Owners can contact Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center at 1-866-436-7332 for more information.
