WASHINGTON—AALA announced this week that Dr. William J. Bennett will be the keynote speaker at the 2007 AALA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, September 10, 2007.

The 2007 AALA Annual Meeting, to be held September 10-11 at the Hotel Monaco, Washington, D.C.

The AALA Board of Directors Meeting (closed session) will start at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 10. The general session, which is open to the full AALA membership, will begin that evening at 6:00 p.m. with an opening reception and dinner. Check below for a summary outline of the program:

Monday, September 10 - Business Attire

  • 1:00 p.m. - Board of Directors Meeting (closed)
  • 6:00 p.m. - Opening Reception (all attendees)
  • 7:00 p.m. - Dinner w/Keynote Speaker – Bill Bennett (all attendees)

    Tuesday, September 11 - Business Attire

  • 7:00 a.m. - Buffet Breakfast (all attendees)
  • 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - General Session (all attendees)
