GE Trailer Fleet Services Opens New Unit in California

November 8, 2005

WAYNE, PA — GE Trailer Fleet Services has opened a trailer-leasing unit in El Centro, Calif., to serve trucking firms that transport goods from maquiladoras plants along the U.S./Mexico border, according to the Web site www.thetrucker.com. Gib Bosworth, regional sales manager, said the closeness of the GE rental and lease trailer fleet will give cargo shippers added logistics and maintenance flexibility as they transfer goods between the manufacturing and assembly plants in Mexico and the large distribution centers just across the border in the U.S.
