June 4, 2004

At the Opening Ceremonies of the 2004 National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA) annual conference exposition and auto show in Vancouver, Jerry Duffy, vice president of Jefferson Leasing was presented with the 2004 Clemens-Pender Award, recognizing him as NVLA Lessor of the Year. The 2003 Clemens-Pender Award winner, Elaine Litwer, CVLE, announced Duffy as this year’s honoree and presented the trophy to him. This is the highest honor for a lessor. Duffy is a past president of the NVLA and has been a frequent contributor of articles in Vehicle Leasing Today, NVLA’s quarterly publication. He has been a vocal and consistent champion for the independent leasing company, and for the betterment of the leasing industry. Duffy has served in many national and local capacities in the NVLA over the years, and has recently agreed to serve as chairman of the manufacturers’ relations committee.
