For the first time ever, professional fleet managers selected the Chevrolet Malibu and the Ford F-150 as the best 2004 model car and truck via a Web site poll conducted on Automotive Fleet’s and Business Fleet’s popular Web site, www.fleet-central.com. Fleet managers, who are responsible for operating over 3-million U.S. vehicles, voted based on descriptive specifications and product data supplied by manufacturers. The Malibu won among a field of 19 passenger cars while the F-150 competed with 13 other light trucks. The top awards were presented at Fleet Expo, at the Meadowlands Convention Center in Secaucus, NJ.
