LeasePlan USA announced on July 1, 2003 that Jack Pierce has been named purchasing director for the fleet management company. Prior to joining LeasePlan USA, Pierce was a business development manager for Nexus Business Solutions/General Motors. In that role, he managed the purchasing relationship between General Motors and LeasePlan USA.
In previous positions with GE Capital Auto Financial Services, Pierce worked in distribution, sales, and is Six Sigma Quality Process Management trained. In addition to his corporate experience, Pierce served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for six years.
Although he has served in the position since April, Pierce officially replaced Helen Tozer, who retired from LeasePlan, on July 1, 2003.
