Ford Names New Director, Pre-Owned and Remarketing Strategy

Jim O'Connor, Group Vice President, Marketing, Sales and Service, North America, announced that effective June 1, 2003, David Prystash, presently Controller, North America Car and Truck, Product Development, has been appointed to the position of Director, Pre-Owned and Remarketing Strategy. He will report to Kevin Koswick, Executive Director, North American Fleet, Lease and Remarketing Operations(NAFLRO).In his new assignment, Prystash will be responsible for providing strategic direction for the pre-owned and remarketing business. He will also provide valuable information on factors impacting residual values to ProductCreation teams and he will bring strong analytical capabilities to an area of growing importance.Reporting to Prystash will be:
  • Linda Silverstein, Director, Remarketing Business Operations.
  • Naomi Hughey, Manager, Global Lifecycle Analytics Department.On a dotted line basis, also reporting to David will be:
  • Mike Dennis, Ford/LM Pre-Owned Vehicle Certification Manager (also reports to Tom Gorman and Al Giombetti)
  • Joe Poi, Residual Risk Manager, Ford Financial (also reports to Rich Van Leeuwen and Dave Cosper).
