Chrysler Group announced on May 31, 2002 the extension of two consumer programs through the Independence Day holiday weekend. The first — Chrysler Group’s National Minivan Sales Event — will be extended through July 8, 2002. It offers consumers up to $2,500 in incentives on all Chrysler and Dodge minivans, excluding e-models (eC, eX and eL), and APR financing as low as 0.0 percent. Dodge and Chrysler minivans claimed a 25-percent increase in overall quality in the J.D. Power study. Chrysler Group’s powertrain protection pledge also has been extended, which provides at no charge seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain coverage on all new 2001 and 2002 Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge vehicles purchased through July 8.
