John Rohde, general manager of Snider Leasing in Sacramento, Calif., for nearly 15 years, died July 12, 2001, of a heart attack. He was 74.
Rohde began his vehicle leasing career in 1964, when he was named general manager of Capitol Equipment in Sacramento. A former head football coach at the University of Pacific in Stockton, Calif., Rohde played professionally for the NFL’s Washington Redskins.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, a sister, and three grandchildren.
