EOBR

EOBR stands for electronic on-board recorders. This is an electronic means for logging driver status, in compliance with the Department of Transportation’s Hours of Service (HOS) requirements. Such EOBRs can communicate driver eligibility to a central dispatch system and provide state troopers with proof of driver history and eligibility.
