The redesigned 2016 Mazda CX-9 will start at $32,420, when it goes on sale in the U.S. in late spring, Mazda has announced.

Mazda is following its trim-model pattern, and will offer the three-row CX-9 in Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring grades. Mazda will also offer a Signature grade. Prices have been set at $32,420 for Sport, $36,870 for Touring, $41,070 for Grand Touring, and $44,915 for Signature. Prices include delivery fees.

Mazda is offering the CX-9 in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive for an additional $1,800. All-wheel drive is standard on the CX-9 Signature. Premium pain options include $200 for Snowflake White Pearl Mica, $300 for Soul Red Metallic, and $300 for Machine Gray Metallic.

The 2016 CX-9 is powered by Mazda's new SkyActive 2.5T turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The FWD model achieves an EPA-rated 28 mpg on the highway.
