GM Sales to Commercial Fleets Grows in January

DETROIT - General Motors reported that sales to commercial fleet customers rose 7 percent in January, the tenth consecutive month of commercial fleet sales gains, according to the company; although the automaker said its sales to rental fleets were down. Fleet accounted for 22 percent of GM total sales during the month. Vehicle fleet sales (including sales to rental fleets) totaled 39,767 for GM’s four brands.
