Minn. Fair Fights Distracted Driving

Posted on August 30, 2017   |   107 views

During the Minnesota State Fair, St. Paul Police are targeting nearby distracted drivers through a tag-team approach. When an officer in an unmarked police car spots a texting driver, the officer alerts a motorcycle officer who then pulls the violator over and issues a citation. And inside the fair, a Minnesota State Patrol exhibit tells the tragic story of how a distracted driver cut short the lives of a father and daughter from Becker, Minn.
